Parking enforcement

Our team of Civil Enforcement Officers – previously known as parking attendants – is on patrol across Thurrock.

They enforce regulations for:

• on-street parking
• pay-and-display car parks

Civil Enforcement Officers on the streets do not deal with:

• parking appeals
• issuing permits
• abandoned or untaxed vehicles
• vehicles parked on the footway unless there are yellow lines in place
• vehicles parked on grass verges unless there are yellow lines in place
• vehicles causing an obstruction unless there are yellow lines in place
