Surveying your home before work begins
You will be contacted by our Transforming Homes contractor to arrange a survey with you at your home.
During the survey, the following people may be present:
- resident liaison officer (RLO) – your RLO will talk with your about the survey and discuss any support you may need during works
- kitchen designer – they will talk with you about the design of your kitchen
- electrical engineer – they will look at the wiring in your home to see if it needs an upgrade
- asbestos surveyor – they will carry out a survey to check if there is any asbestos that needs to be removed before works begin
What happens after your home survey
After the survey, we will write to you and confirm whether any works are needed at your home.
If works are needed, our contractors will contact you to arrange a start date.
Support for tenants with additional needs
During your survey, you will be asked some questions about your individual needs.
We want to understand your needs so we can support you through any works that are required at your home.
