Trees

Although we don't have a formal planting programme, we do record any tree planting requests we receive from residents. Where resources allow, we plant trees in response to these requests. Tree planting generally takes place between October and early March.

Where appropriate, we will consider enquiries from residents who offer to meet the cost of their planting request.

With any tree planting we need to consider:

• choosing the right species of tree for the right location
• underground or overhead utility services, such as cables, pipes drains
