The boards below meet regularly to oversee our improvement and recovery work.

Improvement and Recovery Board

The Improvement and Recovery Board oversees the work of the intervention and reports on the progress required by government directions. It also oversees development and delivery of our Improvement and Recovery Plan. The board is chaired by Gavin Jones, Lead Commissioner with strategic oversight of the intervention.

Finance Recovery Board

The Finance Recovery Board oversees work to deal with the financial challenges we face, responding to the financial directions made by the Government. It is chaired by Nicole Wood, Finance Commissioner and reports to the Improvement and Recovery Board.

Governance Recovery Board

The Governance Recovery Board oversees work on the Intervention Directions made by the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. It is chaired by Dr Dave Smith, Managing Director Commissioner and Chief Executive, and reports to the Improvement and Recovery Board.
