Cemeteries and churchyards
We maintain 5 cemeteries and 7 closed churchyards.
Cemeteries
We maintain 5 cemeteries in Thurrock, listed below.
There is a choice of burial services and graves for cremated remains – read our fees and charges for funeral services.
When we carry out maintenance or repair works in these cemeteries, we plan the work to make sure funeral services are not disturbed. The cemeteries will remain open while work is taking place, and you will be able to visit loved ones. A public space protection order (PSPO) concerning dogs on leads and the fouling of land by dogs is in force at these cemeteries.
