Notice under Article 38 of Proposals for a Local Development Order granting Planning Permission

London Gateway Logistics Park, The Manorway, Stanford-le-Hope

Notice is given that Thurrock Council proposes to make the London Gateway Logistics Park Local Development Order 2 (2025) (LDO2) granting planning permission for up to 733,776 square metres of commercial and amenity floorspace of which 412,326 sqm is already consented by previous Local Development Orders for the site.

In November 2013 the council made the London Gateway Logistics Park Local Development Order (2013) which permitted up to 829,700 square metres of commercial floorspace. It expired in early November 2023 with 337,225 square metres of floorspace having been consented.

An interim Local Development Order (LDO1.5) was made by the council in February 2024, which permits the development of up to 85,000 square metres of additional B8 floorspace on the London Gateway Logistics Park. It is valid until February 2025 (unless LDO2 is made by the council prior to that date).

Proposed LDO2 is accompanied by an Environmental Statement prepared in accordance with The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 (as amended).
