Public notice

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 18 May 2024, the order will come in to force on 23 June 2024.

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

a) to introduce a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the location specified below:

i. on the west side of Park Lane, from a point 1.8m north of the south flank wall of 1 Park Mews in a south direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m

b) to revoke No Waiting At Any Time at the location specified below:

i. on the west side of Park Lane, from the south flank wall of 1 Park Mews in a south direction for a distance of 4.9m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Delivery team by phoning 01375 652 652 during normal office hours, or via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
