Thurrock Council's Cabinet Member for Education has congratulated students after they received their A-Level results today.
Cllr Adam Carter said: "I would like to say a huge well done to everyone who got their A-Level results today. Pupils and staff have worked hard to overcome huge obstacles which faced them as they started their A-level studies in the midst of the COVID pandemic.
"Everyone who has got their results today should be proud of what they have achieved and I would like to congratulate each and every one of them.
"This morning I visited South Essex College in Grays where I spoke with students to congratulate them personally as they collected their results.
"Please remember that the Inspire Youth Hub is on hand to help young people with next steps into further education, training or apprenticeships. I used Inspire myself and the help I received was invaluable. I cannot recommend it highly enough."
Anyone aged 16 to 25 years-old is welcome to drop into Inspire Youth Hub at 24-28 Orsett Road, Grays from Tuesdays to Fridays, or contact the team in advance to have a conversation or make an appointment.
