School Attendance Orders
Please provide me with the following information.
1) Between 1st July 2023 and 1st July 2024 how many School Attendance Orders were issued?
2) Between 1st July 2023 and 1st July 2024 how many of the school attendance orders that were issued were prosecuted for non-compliance?
3) Of the School Attendance Orders issued between 1st July 2023 and 1st July 2024 and prosecuted for non-compliance how many were the parent found by the court to be not guilty?
4) Of the school Attendance orders issued between 1st July 2023 and 1st July 2024 how many did result in a child being registered in school?
5)Of the School Attendance Orders issued between 1st July 2023 and 1st July 2024 how many have not been prosecuted for non-compliance or revoked?

We are unable to provide an exact number for question 4 above as:
- There is a low number involved.
- The release of this information could identify individuals which would constitute their personal data under the Data Protection Act
- There is no prior expectation on the part of these individuals that their personal information would be published in the wider public domain under the FOI Act
- Personal data of any other person is exempt under section 40 (2) of the Data Protection Act.
