This seems to consist of a brown shaped box with two cameras. One camera facing North and one camera pointing down to the pavement.
Can you please supply the following details
1) What is the purpose of this unit
2) Who is it being operated by?
3) Was any public consultation done before these were erected
4) Do they operate on any Radio Frequency (RF) and is so what frequencies to they operate on. (Both uplink and downlink).
5) What is max & nominal output power if transmitting
6) Is this a limited time test (if so what is the end date) or is it permanent

Response:

1) The purpose was to count the number of the existing vehicle movement on the access road as requested by the Highways authority as part of the statutory planning consultation.

2) It was an independent traffic survey company – Innowise Works.

3) Not prior to the erection of the cameras, this was completed as part of a statutory consultee request as part of the planning process, public consultation took place prior to the submission of the application.

4) The survey was undertaken using a video camera and the footage was seen by the survey company only to count the vehicles only. The data has been analysed and the video footage has now been deleted.

5) The survey was undertaken using a video camera only.

6) The camera was installed on Wednesday 22nd May and taken down on Sunday 26th May.
