Essex University, libraries and local partners are teaming up to bring you a month of events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Essex Book Festival.
Grays Library is hosting 2 events, including an opportunity to meet local authors.
Living Books event will take place on 8 June 2024, from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Enjoy a friendly chat and hear stories from people all around you. Every person has their own story so why not bring yours down to Grays library.
Local Authors Fair is on 29 June 2024 from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Meet Thurrock's local authors at this new annual event. Chat with writers, discuss their work, enjoy short readings at the mini writers' slam, and browse their books that you can buy.
Young bookworms can have an opportunity to test their storytelling skills by taking part in the Super Short Story competition. This has been extended to the 4 June 2024. For details, go to Essex Book Festival: Super Short Story competition.
