Figures released today, Monday 17 April, show that the vast majority of children across Thurrock will receive one of their top 3 primary school choices for the September 2023 academic year.
From 2,311 applications, over 98% of children will have been offered one their top 3 places. 92% of applicants this year have been offered their first choice of primary school, an increase from 88% first choices offered in 2022.
Parents who applied for their child's primary school place online will be able to check which school has been allocated via their online account. For those who did not apply online, your offer letter will have been posted today, Monday 17 April.
Waiting lists for school places will be ready on Tuesday 2 May. From this date, we will be able to advise parents and carers of their waiting list positions for Thurrock schools. For waiting lists at schools outside the borough, you must contact the relevant school's local authority.
