I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act. Specifically, I would like to obtain details regarding the following:

Internal Graphic Designers: Do you employ internal graphic designers within your organisation? If so, could you provide details on the number of graphic designers employed and their roles?

One full time Senior Graphic Designer: manages design and print requirements throughout the council via the wider communications team.

One part time, 3 days a week Graphic Designer (contract expires October 2025), supports the Senior Graphic Designer.

Internal Print Room: Does your organisation have an internal print room? If yes, could you provide information on its functions, including the type of equipment used and the range of services it provides?

The internal print room has 3 copiers supplied by Apogee. Two black and white, and one colour. Designed for high speed printing. We also do booklets, Laminating, large format maps, cutting. We provide for all the Council doing Agendas, Legal documents, Education sensitive work, H/R and Social Care to name but a few. The contract has been won by Xerox for the new machinery that is due.

External Services: Do you offer graphic design and/or print services to external customers? If so, could you detail the nature of these services, including any relevant pricing information or terms and conditions?

No.

Yearly Profit: If you offer services to external customers, could you provide information on your yearly profit from these services?

N/A

External Agencies: Do you use the services of external graphic design agencies? If so, how much has been spent on these? Can this be broken down by fiscal year for the last 3 years?

We do not use external graphic design agencies.
